Your First 8 Weeks at BK Behavior

At BK Behavior, we set you up for success from day one. After you’re hired, you’ll complete your onboarding and credentialing process — and while that’s happening, you’ll begin our paid 2-month BCBA training program designed to build your skills, confidence, and community.

Step 1: Onboarding & Credentialing

We guide you through every step — from completing paperwork to setting up systems and getting credentialed with insurance providers. You’ll always know what’s next, and you’ll never go through it alone.

Step 2: Cohort-Based BCBA Training

While your credentialing is underway, you’ll join BK Orientation & Training, a structured onboarding experience designed specifically for BCBAs and QBAs new to our company. You’ll be placed in a small cohort of peers and guided through live, interactive sessions led by experienced Lead BCBAs.

Over an 8-week period, you’ll complete 11 hours of intentional, practice-focused training that prepares you to step into cases with clarity and confidence. Topics include:

  • Confidently managing new cases from day one
  • Supervising, coaching, and supporting RBTs effectively
  • Building collaborative, trusting relationships with families
  • Telehealth expectations and best practices
  • Leadership soft skills, including communication and navigating difficult conversations

By the end of the program, you’ll be credentialed, trained, and fully prepared to deliver services at the highest standard — with a support system already in place.

Mikayla Boyd, BCBA

“The cohort program was very helpful, especially being a newer BCBA. The schedule was also flexible, which I appreciated. My favorite thing about the cohort is the endless amount of resources that were provided and I learned a lot of new skills!”

Dorothy Ranew, BCBA

“ I have enjoyed working with GBA and have found the experience to be supportive and collaborative. GBA allows me to practice independently but has resources when challenges arise. It is invaluable to work for a company that understands the field and provides support to the clients, families, and their team members.”
