Upcoming Journal Club
Similar to a book club, Journal Club is an interactive discussion for BCBAs to share insights and observations with colleagues about a selected peer-reviewed article. It fosters collaboration, critical thinking, and the application of research to practice.
- July 9: ABA on Trial: Reform, Defense, and the Field We're Building
- October 8: Honoring Assent: Training Staff to Respond When Learners Push Back
- In order to receive credit, BCBAs must read the journal article in advance and fully participate with camera and microphone on.

- September 3: Collaboration Without Conflict: Working Across Disciplines and Settings

Grateful and excited to be at Four Corners ABA Conference surrounded by so many people with the same mission. To advocate and provide support for children and families across the Midwest. Heartland ABA
“The greatest use of life is to spend it on something that will outlast it.”
🌍 Happy World ABA Day from BK Behavior!
Yesterday, we brought together over 100 attendees across both virtual and in-person, and the energy was truly something special.
A huge thank you to Dr. Anika Hoybjerg for an inspiring session that truly embodied The Kindness Method. Her message says it best: “Kindness is the method, not the reward. When kindness is a priority, everyone benefits.”
From meaningful discussions on trauma-informed care to reflections on what moves us as professionals, this event was filled with connection, growth, and purpose.

BK Book Club with a Purpose
Our clinical team knows that great outcomes start with great training. Over the next few weeks we’re reading Make it Meaningful and exploring how to build programs that truly matter for our learners’ futures. Grateful to work alongside BCBAs who are committed to excellence and lifelong learning. #BCBA #ClinicalExcellence #AutismIntervention
Brian Brutzman, PhD, BCBA
I really enjoyed speaking with BCBAs across BK Behavior about mindfulness in ABA last week. Here is a snapshot of what BCBAs said make them most anxious. The majority of BCBAs also identified “letting go” as the mindfulness practice they are most interested in.
