This internship experience has been so fulfilling. I really enjoy getting the opportunity to work with so many different supervisors, each bringing their own level of experience and area of specialty. My favorite part of this experience has been group supervision because it reminds you that you are not alone in this long marathon toward becoming a BCBA. It has also been wonderful getting to collaborate with interns from each entity.
It is hard to feel shy asking for help because supervisors and operations staff are so open and encouraging. Questions and feedback are always welcomed. There are also so many different tasks to work on, and I really appreciate that participation is flexible. You are never pressured to take on tasks you do not have time for or may not be interested in. Some assignments are even based specifically on the TCO6, which I value because it aligns directly with content covered on the BCBA exam. Another great perk has been The intern group chat/forum which makes it easier to connect with other interns and feel part of a larger community, which I am grateful for in a field that can sometimes feel lonely and lead to burnout.
Overall, this journey has been an amazing learning experience, and I am so thankful to be surrounded by such supportive supervisors and peers who make this process both meaningful and motivating. I am looking forward to continuing my internship here and, upon completion and passing the exam, hopefully maintaining a role with this amazing team.

I feel so blessed to have completed my internship at BK Behavior. I had the chance to work alongside amazing BCBAs, participate in group and individual supervision sessions, and ask endless questions that deepened my understanding of the field.
I also conducted pre-service trainings for new RBTs and created ongoing RBT trainings, which really helped solidify the concepts I was learning while preparing for my BCBA exam. From participating in advocacy work and ethics committee projects to supporting RBTs in the field, every experience built my knowledge and skills.
Thanks to the incredible mentorship and hands-on experience I received, I passed my BCBA exam on the first try. I’m so grateful to have been given the internship opportunity!
