Your First 6 Months at BK Behavior

At BK Behavior, we set you up for success from day one. After you’re hired, you’ll complete your onboarding and credentialing process — and while that’s happening, you’ll begin our paid 6-month BCBA training program designed to build your skills, confidence, and community.

Step 1: Onboarding & Credentialing

We guide you through every step — from completing paperwork to setting up systems and getting credentialed with insurance providers. You’ll always know what’s next, and you’ll never go through it alone.

Step 2: Cohort-Based BCBA Training

While credentialing is in progress, you’ll join a BCBA training cohort — a small group of new BCBAs who learn together in live, interactive sessions led by Lead BCBAs and Clinical Directors.

Over 24 weeks, you’ll participate in 13 hours of structured training that covers:

  • Managing new cases with confidence
  • Supervising and supporting RBTs
  • Collaborating effectively with families
  • Telehealth best practices
  • Soft skills for leadership and difficult conversations
  • Delivering culturally responsive, clinically excellent care

By the end of the program, you’ll be credentialed, trained, and fully prepared to deliver services at the highest standard — with a support system already in place.

“ The cohort program was very helpful, especially being a newer BCBA. The schedule was also flexible, which I appreciated. My favorite thing about the cohort is the endless amount of resources that were provided and I learned a lot of new skills! ”

“ I have enjoyed working with GBA and have found the experience to be supportive and collaborative. GBA allows me to practice independently but has resources when challenges arise. It is invaluable to work for a company that understands the field and provides support to the clients, families, and their team members.”
