Maternity Leave Policy

At BK Healthcare Management, we value the importance of maternity leave for recovery, bonding, and adjustment. Recognizing that not all states provide Paid Family Leave (PFL) or paid disability benefits, we have introduced a maternity leave policy to support eligible employees during this critical time and ease their transition back to work.
Eligibility:
- This policy applies to employees recovering from childbirth in states without access to PFL or paid disability benefits for maternity leave.
- Employees must have at least one year of continuous employment to qualify.
- To receive the benefit, employees must return to work for at least 30 consecutive workdays following their leave.
- Eligibility is exclusive to direct employees of BK Healthcare Management; contractors, temporary workers, and non-employees are not covered.
Benefit Details:
- 1–2 years of continuous employment: Paid leave equivalent to 3 weeks of average earnings calculated over the last three months of work.
- 2+ year of continuous employment: Paid leave equivalent to 6 weeks of average earnings calculated over the last three months of work.
